About PAA
Welcome to our website. The Palomar Airport Association is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer California Corporation and a general-interest, public-benefit community service organization for pilots and non-pilots alike. We are an aviation resource for the community, government agencies and the press for the Palomar Airport. PAA is a subchapter of the California Pilots Association. We work together with neighboring aviation organizations and supporters for the benefit of Palomar-McClellan Airport (KCRQ). Our focus is airport preservation and education, and we promote balanced public airport use for all types/classes of aviation--from small private aviation through commercial operations. PAA hosts community programs, events, education, public relations and coordination of volunteer support activities. We follow AOPA and California Pilots community service guidelines. We believe that when everyone gets together, things are better for all; for aviation users, businesses and the community. All donations are tax deductible. Volunteer work qualifies as community service for a local civic organization. If you are interested in supporting aviation at Palomar Airport, join us. Running PAA takes money and time. This site and activities are completely funded/supported by tax deductible volunteer donations of money and time by folks like you. Please consider supporting this effort for the benefit of our local community. We as for $10/yr for a membership donation, and if you can spare it, a couple hours a year of your time.
